The Baikonur City, also known as Zarya, Leninskiy, Leninsk and Zvezdograd - now the Russian Space Center. For short period of time in semidesert the modern city in which there live engineers, specialists and technicians of the Baikonur cosmodrome (Baikonur Cosmodrome: Plan) has been constructed. For their families the necessary infrastructure has been created: from kindergartens and schools, branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute and up to supermarkets, cinema, cafe and restaurants.
